China University Of Mining And Technology (Beijing)


China University of Mining and Technology, Beijing (CUMTB) was founded in Henan Province in 1909 as China's first institution to offer higher education in coal science and technology. Now CUMTB is one of the key national universities directly supervised by China's Ministry of Education. It is also supported by the "211 Project" and "985 Innovation Platform for Advantageous Disciplines", which are the nation-established programs to financially support the top universities in China. As a multi-disciplinary university with a history of over 100 years, CUMTB has been playing an important leading role in the coal science, technology and industry. 

Australia-China Joint Research Centre for Energy


The Australia-China Joint Research Centre for Energy has been established with support from the Australia-China Science and Research Fund (ACSRF) to develop advanced energy technologies needed to fulfil the two top priorities of Australia and China governments for improved energy security and reduced CO2 emissions from both countries.The Centre will act as a major platform for science and research collaboration between Australia and China in the area of energy science and engineering, focusing on both renewables and fossil fuels.
